We set up Vyška so that applicants and their parents have someone to turn to while applying to universities in Slovakia and after moving there. The agency's founder studied in Slovakia and can share first-hand experience of studying, finding accommodation and everyday life in a new country.
We start with a free consultation: we talk about the applicant's interests, grades, language level and how much time there is to prepare. We compare programmes and check requirements and application deadlines. We discuss which options fit your grades and language level and which ones you can still prepare for in time. If the language needs work or extra documents are required, we say so straight away and discuss fallback options.
Before we start, we explain the terms of support: what the team takes on and what is needed from the applicant. The admission decision is made by the university. If something still needs to be confirmed, we say so.
We help gather documents, arrange translations and submit applications, and we follow the universities' responses. We keep the student and parents up to date: what has been submitted, which responses we are waiting for and which documents still need to be prepared. After the move, we help with accommodation and the documents for the foreign police.
We stay in touch with the student and parents throughout the support period. For example, you can forward us a confusing letter from the university: we will explain what is expected of you and whether a reply is needed. If difficulties arise or plans change, we will discuss the options together and what can be done.
