The Road Safety Festival, organized by the Slovak Ministry of Transport, offers an interactive program for all age groups. It’s a day when road safety can be not only discussed but also experienced firsthand.
Visitors can enjoy interactive performances for children that incorporate road safety education, car crash and rollover simulators, as well as goggles that simulate the effects of intoxication to help better understand the risks. For the youngest children, a mobile traffic playground will be set up where they can learn traffic rules through play.
The program also includes first-aid demonstrations by rescue workers and tours of their equipment. Car enthusiasts will be able to enjoy an exhibition of race cars and vintage vehicles. In addition, the festival will feature a medical booth offering basic health screenings and discussions with road safety experts.
The festival is a wonderful opportunity for schools, families, and seniors to gain new knowledge and skills that could save lives. Admission to the event is free.
