Nitra invites you to the traditional Nitra Festivals and Harvest (Nitra Festivals and Harvest) taking place on August 15 and 16. This two-day celebration will fill the city with folklore, traditions, and a pleasant atmosphere, offering a rich program for the whole family.
In the pedestrian zone and Svatopluk Square, a harvest fair will unfold with crafts, homemade products, and treats. For the youngest visitors, there will be a straw labyrinth, forest pedagogy, carousels, entertainment activities, and a tractor exhibition.
On Saturday, the sixth annual Black and White Concert under the Nitra sky will take place, featuring Vera Karas, Martin Rous, PV Acoustic, and KYKLOP Band. Sunday will begin with the traditional procession to Nitra Calvary, followed by a program in the city center with performances by folklore groups, folk music, and children's theater.
The highlight of the festival will be the traditional harvest procession and the ceremonial presentation of the harvest wreath, symbolizing gratitude for this year's crop. Join the celebration and enjoy the rich cultural program.
