The popular Tchibo chain has officially opened its latest location in Eastern Slovakia. This is already the fourth such location in the city and the 22nd in the country overall, combining a classic retail store with a full-service ticket office and café.
Where to find the new location and what it offers
The retail space is located on the first floor of the main passenger terminal on Staničné námestie. Thanks to its location within the station’s shopping complex, the new location is convenient not only for those traveling on the national railway’s trains but also for residents of the surrounding area.
- Work and relaxation area: Inside, there are comfortable seating areas where you can enjoy coffee with dessert or work quietly on your laptop while waiting for your train.
- Product selection: In addition to whole-bean and instant coffee, the selection of consumer goods is updated weekly—ranging from kitchenware and clothing to sports equipment.
- Hours: The venue is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
You can read more about the concept of this new space in Zoznam’s official report. If you’re planning trips to cities in the region or looking for convenient transportation options, check out our “transport” page, which has a collection of useful information for getting around the country.
What’s on the menu and what’s new
To coincide with the opening, the chain has launched a special seasonal menu that will be available at the coworking cafes through the end of October. Among the unique flavors, visitors can try the purple Matcha Ube drink made with a Philippine tuber or the warming Pumpkin Spice classic. For those who prefer cooler options, cold brew coffee variations with pumpkin foam are available.
Such new offerings at transportation hubs are gradually changing the country’s everyday travel experience, making daily commutes more comfortable.
