As a result of a large-scale speed check on Wednesday, 1279 traffic violations were recorded. The most speed limit exceedances were found in the Bratislava region (222 cases), and in the Trnava region, drivers were caught going 60 km/h over the speed limit. Police report that in the worst cases, drivers lost their driving licenses on the spot.
