The Warsaw police together with the Polish Internal Security Agency detained a man suspected of preparing a contract killing. The likely target was the Ukrainian rapper and blogger Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, Ukrainian-American rapper and blogger), who has lived in Bratislava (Bratislava, capital of Slovakia) since 2024. This was reported by the Polish radio station RMF FM.
The detainee is 29 years old, originally from Donbas, and holds Russian citizenship. According to Polish authorities, his task was to kill a “U.S. citizen of Ukrainian origin.” Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, Ukrainian-American rapper and blogger) has dual citizenship, Ukrainian and American.
How this may be connected to the FSB case
Polish journalists suggest that the order could be related to the rapper’s activities, which earlier attracted the attention of the FSB (FSB, Russian Federal Security Service). In mid-July, the Russian special service accused Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, Ukrainian-American rapper and blogger) of organizing a drone attack on one of the military-industrial complex enterprises in the Moscow region. According to the FSB version, the preparation was coordinated by the SBU (SBU, Ukrainian Security Service), and 35 FPV drones were allegedly smuggled from Bratislava (Bratislava, capital of Slovakia) through Poland and Belarus — the logistics were supposedly controlled by the rapper himself.
In addition, the FSB accused him without any evidence of involvement in cocaine distribution.
Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, Ukrainian-American rapper and blogger) himself rejected all accusations. In his Instagram stories, he stated that he has nothing to do with preparing sabotage: he does not know why he attracted such attention and called it “the most senseless investment” on which someone spent a lot of money.

Albert Vasiliev, known under the pseudonym Kyivstoner (Kyivstoner, Ukrainian-American rapper and blogger), is a Ukrainian rapper, blogger, and former member of the music project “Гриби” (Hryby). After leaving the group, he started a solo career, acted in films, and actively ran YouTube and Instagram projects.
He condemns Russian aggression and financially supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU). At the same time, he criticizes Ukraine’s military-political leadership and mobilization methods. He believes that the sides will inevitably have to sit at the negotiating table.
