The leadership of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology (FIIT STU) held a series of important meetings in New York with representatives of global technology giants. The goal of these talks is to directly connect Slovak students with the American innovation market and open the door to internships and careers for them.
Global Opportunities for Slovak Talent
Faculty representatives met in the U.S. with executives from Google, Meta, and Amazon, as well as with the Transatlantic Innovation Hub, an organization dedicated to bridging the European and American business communities. The main focus was on creating real opportunities for student internships, research projects, and direct employment for graduates in the U.S. market.
Faculty Dean Ivan Kotulyak emphasized that the administration aims to remove geographical barriers for talented individuals. If students have the potential to succeed on an international level, the university wants to create opportunities for them right in the heart of the world’s business centers.
More Than Just Exchange Internships
This initiative is not merely a formal expansion of the list of partner universities. The faculty administration plans to build a long-term bridge between the academic community and the American technology ecosystem.
