What Has Changed for Passengers
The changes affect passengers who use public transportation in this part of the city. Bus routes 71, 72, and the N6 night line, which head toward the KVP residential area, will temporarily not stop at their usual location.
A temporary bus stop has been set up approximately 130 meters further from the main location, directly alongside the shopping center building.
These restrictions will remain in effect for the entire duration of the construction work.
These changes are part of the citywide schedule and will affect the daily commutes of thousands of residents.

Why the stop is being relocated
The repair work is part of a large-scale municipal project to improve urban infrastructure and bus stop complexes. The project covers several dozen locations in various parts of the city. The Košice Public Transport Company is notifying passengers of these temporary changes.
The goal of the work is not just to replace the road surface, but to completely renovate the area for the convenience of passengers. Once the work is complete, this location will feature:
a modernized and reinforced bus bay with a pond;
a convenient boarding area with tactile elements for visually impaired people;
modern information displays, new benches, and trash cans. The city is developing a three-phase plan for the modernization of bus stops.
