A popular hiking route in the High Tatras will be closed for repairs.

Starting Monday, May 11, the green tourist route from Bilíkova chata (Bilík Hut) to the Studený potok waterfalls and Rainerova chata (Rainer Hut) will be closed to visitors. The reason is the reconstruction of a damaged section, which will last at least one month. The administration recommends using the red route for now, but warns about its partial wear and tear and asks for special caution.
