Medical care will be provided exclusively for acute and urgent cases, under the same conditions that apply during weekends and public holidays. Regular outpatient clinics will remain closed.
Which patients are affected by the change
If you experience a sudden worsening of your health, injury, or other acute problem during the holiday, you do not need to wait for the next working day. Specialized hospital departments providing urgent medical care will be available.
The hospital operates emergency admissions at two main addresses in the city:
- At Triede SNP 1
- At Rastislavova 43
Immediate life-threatening situations are, of course, a reason to call emergency lines 155 or 112 immediately.
Restrictions will also affect diagnostics
Patients who had specialized examinations scheduled for this day will also feel the changes in operation. All imaging departments will operate in a limited holiday mode.

All standard preventive check-ups and pre-arranged planned procedures will not be performed on this day. The hospital will fully resume normal operation and outpatient clinic schedules on the next working day.
