A dispute over being denied entry to a Loboda concert in Košice could result in criminal charges for a Ukrainian citizen. The woman was denied entry to the concert, so she decided to take revenge—she called the emergency hotline and reported a bomb had been planted at the Steel Aréna.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene immediately. Although the exact number of people evacuated has not been disclosed, such calls typically paralyze an event and require the evacuation of thousands of people. Significant resources are deployed to investigate, including K-9 units and bomb squads.

Law enforcement quickly identified the caller. The woman was detained and is now charged with spreading false alarm information (šírenie poplašnej správy).

What Is the Punishment for a False Alarm?

Slovak law imposes severe penalties for such actions. According to the Criminal Code (§ 361), knowingly reporting false information that causes panic or requires serious security measures is a criminal offense.

For this offense, the woman faces imprisonment for a term of one to five years. According to the police, the investigation into the case is still ongoing. In this instance, reckless revenge is classified as a criminal offense with serious consequences.
