On September 9, an incident occurred on Jana Langoša Street in Bratislava: thieves used a screwdriver to break the entrance door to an apartment building, then robbed a parked car in the garage. According to Bratislava police, they stole valuables, cash, documents, and payment cards, which were immediately used for unauthorized payments at gas stations.
The case involves two Ukrainian citizens aged 27 and 37. Criminal investigators from the fifth and fourth Bratislava districts managed to identify the suspects thanks to thorough operational and investigative work, and they were detained on September 11. The investigator charged them with theft combined with unauthorized production and use of a payment instrument.



Besides the property crime itself, other serious circumstances emerged. During procedural actions with the 27-year-old man named I. K., the police found that a warrant had previously been issued for his delivery to an institution to serve a preventive measure and imprisonment for obstructing the execution of an official decision and threatening under the influence of narcotics. Regarding the 37-year-old V. K., the investigator filed a motion for detention, based on which the judge of the Bratislava City Court I sent him to prison.
